Texti is the WhatsApp-first rideshare service — born in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. If you can send a message, you can get a ride.

Why we exist

Every rideshare company asks the same thing before the first trip: download our app, create an account, allow notifications, add a card. We built Texti around a simpler idea — meet people inside the app they already open fifty times a day. You message us like a friend ("take me to the airport"), and our AI assistant handles the rest: pickup, matching, live updates, payment, receipt. Type it, say it in a voice note, or just drop a pin — the service understands.

What we stand for

Upfront honesty. The fare you see is the fare you pay — and when demand pricing applies, we say so before you book, not after.
Drivers keep more. Drivers earn 85% of every fare, choose their own hours, and get paid out directly — no games, no hidden deductions.
Safety before scale. Every driver is document-verified (Class 4 licence, insurance, annual inspection) and background-screened before their first trip.
Privacy by design. We collect only what a ride needs, we never sell personal data, and our Privacy Policy is written to be read.
Local first. We're building from St. John's outward — hiring locally, following Newfoundland and Labrador's rules, and growing city by city rather than everywhere at once.
